YOU ARE NOT YOUR OWN

Sorry everybody, didn't mean to go all Jason Fullen on you all. What happened was Sunday night Shelly's uncle Richard died and we ended up leaving early Wednesday morning to go to Porter. He had been sick a while so it was not totally unexpected but it still caught everyone by surprise because he had been getting better. The funeral service was very nice. The preacher actually presented the gospel (as requested by her uncle) and I'm not sure but I think there were a couple of decisions for Christ. What a way to end your life... by giving others an opportunity to find theirs. He was a Houston Police officer for like 30 years so they had the whole Harris County Honor Guard there (complete with the US Flag and TAPS). They presented the flag to Richard's son.

Anyway, we're back and trying to get caught up. I have so much to do before we leave for Canada. We still have 2 open spots and we need to get those filled. This weekend is a busy one. We're taking the (upcoming) Seniors on a camping trip and then Saturday night Jonathan and his entourage will be here to rock the house on Sunday.
