No this is not a post about Taylor Higgs...
So anyway I purchased several gift cards today. A few for family members but mostly for our Youth Party and Leadership Team. I'm generous to my people!!!
Anyway I traversed around Denton, fighting traffic, and people who can not drive a lick... in order to visit the following establishments.
- Target
- Justice
- Best Buy
- The Home Depot
- Wal-Mart
- Tractor Supply Company
- Cinemark Movie Theater
Only AFTER all of this travelling did I walk into Albertson's and discover that they carry just about every one of these gift cards neatly located and organized upon a kiosk right up front. I just about fainted. Why did I not know about this little aid available to the weary shopper? So I called Shelly and told her and she said, "Oh yeah I've seen those at Wal-Mart but I forgot to tell you."
> Gas for travel around town = $15
> Lunch (because you spend ALL day travelling around town = $5.49
> Total amount of Gift Cards purchased = $260
> Realizing you could have saved several hours of senseless crowd fighting = Priceless!

Sorry Rob. I knew to. I would have told you had I known what you were doing.
Rob, I knew also... but, wouldn't have told you.
But, that's only because you were a spy for "them."
I didn't know... but I luv your perception of the situation. However, you should have treated yourself to a better lunch.
I agree with Bert. I didn't know about the gift card kiosk, but if you were going to spend $260 on gift cards you could have shaved a little here and there from the cards and got you a little sumpin sumpin better for lunch. I'm thinkin' Miguelito's or at least somthing for $9.00.
Hey Cuz-I hope y'all had a great Christmas!!!! See you soon-
and, maybe ... just go to Albertsons from now on...
