So I'm in PetSmart the other day picking out some fish for the girls. We ended up getting a couple of goldfish (which are just about the dirtiest fish you can buy... but what do you expect for $.26 each?)

The fish are doing great by the way. The girls named them Dorothy and Belle. I was just imagining how funny it would be to find out that they are actually male goldfish and saying, "man nobody can ever find out about this." (Anyone know how to tell the gender of a Goldfish?)
ANYWAY, while we were looking around the store I ran across this...

Are you kidding me? Is this for real? Doggie Diapers? It would not have been such a shock if they hadn't had the matching Antibacterial "paw" and "tush" wipes right there also. I laughed so hard I think I scared some people.

That is such a hilarious story!! Evidentially it is very difficult to tell the difference (even for the professionals) between a male and female goldfish. Mature female Goldfish are usually plumper, and mature males have little bumps on their heads, called tubercles, that turn white and are easier to see, when the Goldfish spawn. So, in both cases...only time will tell. Just FYI.
