I didn't discover James Taylor until around 1994 and quite by accident really. I was part of a CD music club where they send you the CDs by mail and you send them back if you don't want them. Anyway that month's free CD was a tribute to American Folk Music. One of the songs was Sammy Kershaw singing "Fire and Rain". I liked the song and was needing to buy a few CDs in order to get a good price so I noticed the song was written by a guy named James Taylor. I bought James Taylor Greatest Hits. Needeless to say I scored bigtime. I still have that CD and it never leaves my car, iPod, or memory. 10 James Taylor CDs later I'm still a huge fan and have tried to immitate his playing style into my own (with a little success, but not much).

Thanks James for the music and memories.

James Taylor is my all time favorite artist. I have loved his music since I was a kid. And, I love it more today than ever. Thanks for the great video, and thanks to James Taylor for all the incredible music he has given us.

JT is cool. I'm definitely a fan of his music from the seventies, but in the eighties he went a little too mellow and relied less on his acoustic guitar. Ben Taylor, son of James Taylor and Carly Simon, has made a few albums that are sounding more and more like his dad's as well.
