Claire (our two year old) has this newfound love for exclaiming nakedness. It all started when we were potty-training her. We would let her run around naked. If she had a diaper on she would use it but if she was naked she would pause and let us know giving us time to rush her to the bathroom. Therefore she learned term 'naked'.
Now however, anytime anyone in the house takes a shirt off, changes pants, removes any article of clothing she says, "You gonna get neck-ed." This is generally a funny thing to experience around the house.
However, Friday we were in Denton and went into Target. I needed some new pants so we found a family changing room. So all five of us piled in there and I proceeded to remove my jeans (I had some dandy boxers on so all was well). Anyway Claire hollers out, "Daddy's gonna get neck-ed!" Then she said it again before we could stop her.
Shelly and I both shhhused her but that ended up sounding more like a coverup for something dirty which was happening in the family changing room. We just accepted it and calmly strolled out of there with my new pair of pants.
