I always enjoy baptisms. I have always enjoyed watching them and now I really enjoy performing them. Today I got to do 2 of them. This morning Skip and I baptized a 50-year old lady with special needs. She may not be where her contemporaries are mentally but she knew she needed Jesus. On her way into the baptistry she turned and waved at everyone. Then when she came up from the water she raised her hands in a big ol' Rocky victory pose. It was beautiful!
Then tonight I was able to baptize one of my 7th grade students that accepted Christ at camp. Afterwards we had the Lord's Supper.
