Google has launched their own Web browser called Google Chrome. The public beta, which will be available Tuesday morning for Windows only, is based in part on Apple's WebKit and Mozilla's Firefox. It promises it's own Javascript Virtual Machine, a new Tab method, and much more.

You can read more about it here. Google states that a Mac and Linux version of their open-source browser is on the way.

Shelly Mac, Google is coming out with their own web browser (think Internet Explorer). However, if its like most other Google programs it will be pretty cool, and probably free!
