Shelly and I have four great couples in our lives who we are privileged to call friends and co-laborers in Christ. Each of these couples are experiencing incredible difficulty in one particular area. They each desperately want to adopt a child but for one reason or another have not been able to. Two of them have visited the child and have already fallen head-over-heels for them. They have already adopted them into their hearts regardless of distance.
I must confess I do not fully understand the yearning that my friends here, here, here, and here experience on a daily basis. The agony of knowing that 'somewhere' out there is a child who is alive today and has been called to live in their home, who may be living in less-than-desirable conditions as we sit here. I have not experienced the anger for all the red tape and bureaucracy that keeps them from wrapping their arms around each other. The frustration of knowing that if a small handful of people gave up their coffee or fancy lunch for just one day that it would be enough to support ALL of these adoptions.
Some are selling T-Shirts to raise money, but all are praying feverishly, and all are needing a miracle. Will you pray with them and for them?
Will you do what you can for these situations? I know most of you do not know some of these people. However, if you trust me at all, if you value my honesty and sincerity, then know that I love each of these people as much as I love you and whatever you could do would be a great blessing for all.

Thank you Robert for posting this.
You are so kind! My eyes are just flowing from reading the other couples struggles. WOW! How does God do it all?! Thanks again! And I MUST get intouch with the Cates. I will try to post on their site and if not, I will give you guys a call for an email or phone number.
Thanks, man. We appreciate your support and prayer. By the way, our homestudy is schedule for Monday.
Good news Bobby. Keep us informed.
Shelly Mac, I think that couch looks much cooler then it is comfortable.
Wow. Robert thank you so much for sharing our need for prayers. I don't think I can covey how much that really means to me. Let's just say a lot.
I also think this may be the coolest blog design EVER. Did you do it?
Thanks for using my photo and making it look drop dead amazing.
You're welcome Debra. Honestly I wish I could write you a $3000 check right now. Well I could but you know what would happen...
Regarding the Blog Design. I found it here but it wasn't quite right for me. So I pulled it into Photoshop and added my own stuff. Then I uploaded all the site images to my personal idisk because the last design I had the images were hosted at PhotoBucket and they lapsed on me. So I decided to host my own images. Plus a few code tweaks here and there on sizes, and text details and there you have it.
Took me a few hours to work all the bugs out.
Thank you for sharing. I am praying that these families will be blessed and that God will be honored.
Words can't express the gratitude and appreciation I have for friends like you! I thank God for you! Thank you for your prayers and support and for helping us get the word out there!
No problem Ernest. I know you'd do the same.
