I've borrowed this post from Todd so here goes...

1. Vacations. I just ended my first two week vacation in many, many years. I gotta be honest, I didn't want to return to work.

2. Reading. I seriously could read all day long if something was interesting enough. However reading for me is slow work. You just can't read at home with 4 kids so don't try. Then by the time you can read... you're asleep.

3. 24. I recently watched the first 2 seasons of "24" on DVD with my wife. We were hooked man. Watching 2-3 sometimes 4 episodes a night. I felt like an addict but it was fun. Season three is somewhere in our future.

4. Friends. I have some of the greatest friends in the world. Everywhere we go we meet some cool people. There's always someone interesting we can invite over for dinner. Plus those long theological never-solving-anything-but-always-trying discussions are golden.

5. This place. Lance, Amy, Rachel, and Jason took Shelly and I here in Maryland. The Gaelic Prawns and Rockfish were a combination of goodness dipped in total awesomeness.

6. My wife. She's like super woman.

7. My kids. Ashlin, Claire, Levi, and Carley. Each has their own personality and each has my heart.

8. Family. I have a great family. I don't get to see them as much as I wish but they really are good people.

9. Not being in school. I just finished 4 years of seminary studies. Why do you think I'm posting this at 1:30 in the afternoon??? Because I don't have to write a book report!

10. Teaching. I love to teach the Bible. I love to ask questions that make me and others think long and hard about our faith and beliefs.

O'Lordans definitely makes my list too. Good thing it is only a couple of miles from my house. Now that you're hooked, you'll have to visit again sooner. The Gaelic prawns are calling.

Really, we love you and your family and had a blast hanging out while you were here.
