YOU ARE NOT YOUR OWN

We moved to Tyler a couple of months ago now and I've had a chance to drive around town quite a bit. I'd like to make some observations about my experiences.

1. The majority of people drive slower than I would have thought.
2. Speed Limit signs have no rhyme or reason to them. (60-30-45-55-70-30...)
   
3. Many people in Tyler are not friendly drivers.
   
4. There are too many U-turns necessary in Tyler.
   
5. There are too many people who make illegal U-turns in Tyler.
   
6. Grocery store parking lots might as well be Crash-Up Derby because no one stays in their designated lane (probably because they finally don't have to follow the concrete medians).
7. To go anywhere in Tyler will take you 15-20 minutes. Count on it.
   

Make no mistake... we love Tyler and we love her quirky DOT regulations!
