You know you have to give it up for Tejano music. It used to be that if you flipped through the radio stations you could tell immediately whether or not the station was Tejano or not. These days you have to listen while to catch the lyrics.
Good job Tejano music producers! Good job.

I've thought the same thing. You know, for the longest time I was so amazed that such a "traditional" sounding music was being listened to by so many younger Spanish speakers. It's like the equivalent of all the white kids listening to stuff that sounds like music written before they're parents were born.
And Tejano singers are hot, too. The girl ones, I mean.
